The Columbus CROP Hunger Walk is gearing up for its 31st year. This year's walk will be on Sunday Oct. 11 at Genoa Park. Registration will be between 12 PM and 2:30 PM. Groups can start walking immediately after registering.
We will be having two recruiter's meetings this year. If you are a recruiter for your church, school or organization, please try and make one of these meetings. The meetings are only one hour in length. If you cannot make one of the meetings, the CWS/CROP office will be happy to send you all the necessary materials.
The first meeting will be on Tuesday, September 8 at Broad Street Presbyterian Church 760 E. Broad St. at 7 PM.
The second meeting will be on Saturday, September 12 at St. John's Evangelical Protestant Church (UCC) 59 E. Mound St. at 9:30 AM.
If you have any questions or would like material sent to you, please contact the CWS/CROP office at 481-4416.

2008 Columbus CROP Walk a Huge Success
In 2008, the Columbus CROP Hunger Walk had over 850 walkers and volunteers.
Together, we raised almost $79,000 to help end hunger here at home and around the world. That is amazing!
The Columbus CROP Hunger Walk 2008 Annual Report will be mailed to you this week.
We will look forward to walking with you on Sunday, October 11, 2009. We will once again meet at our new "home", Genoa Park, just east of COSI. More details will be announced soon.
